Timber (Hand-finished)
Bonsai is synonymous with bespoke finishing of all timber, especially our floors. When a client comes to us for their flooring, it is possible that they cannot find what they are looking for amongst our selection of pre-finished products. By opting for a hand-finished floor one has unlimited scope to personalise every bit of that floor's appearance and customise it entirely to suit their taste.
By selecting a hand-finished floor we are able to drastically increase our clients' options and source wider and longer boards in a larger selection of grades from ultra-rustic 'country' grades all the way up to prime. We work through the selection process with our clients until we find what they are looking for; starting with timber species, grade, board dimension, desired pigmenting (if any) and finally the type of protective finish to be applied.
Finally, our bespoke floors are typically treated with at least three finishing processes thereby ensuring that they are not only beautiful but incredibly well protected too.
